Hanzhi Jiuye Accelerates U.S. Market Expansion, Launches Meirya Green Tea Craft Beer in Los Angeles

Hanzhi Jiuye recently announced the acceleration of its expansion in the U.S. market. The company has obtained the required licenses to support its U.S. alcohol distribution operations and currently focuses on importing and distributing premium Chinese spirits, including Moutai and Wuliangye. At the same time, it is expanding into the craft beer segment as part of its broader beverage market strategy.

On March 25, Meirya, an emerging brand under Hanzhi Jiuye, hosted a launch event in Los Angeles to introduce its new green tea craft beer. The event attracted industry professionals and media attention. Korean artist Heo Sol-ji also attended, contributing to broader public and media interest in the brand.

Inspired by Eastern tea culture, the newly launched product blends the aroma of green tea with modern craft brewing techniques, creating a flavor profile that reflects Meirya’s exploration of tea-infused craft beverages.

Alongside its U.S. debut, Meirya has initiated its expansion into Asian markets. The first phase will focus on Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan, with Thailand planned as the first market in the next phase of rollout. Through its “tea + craft beer” concept, the brand is developing a product direction that combines tea-inspired flavors with contemporary craft brewing.

Looking ahead, Meirya plans to further diversify its product portfolio. A matcha craft beer is scheduled for release in June, followed by a chocolate black tea stout in September, both aimed at meeting growing interest in specialty craft beverages.
