Milestone marks 20 years of nonstop JFK–Aruba service from JetBlue with a gate celebration and special offers for future travel
ORANJESTAD, Aruba, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) and JetBlue are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the airline’s nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Aruba’s Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) today Thursday, October 15. The milestone commemorates two decades of connecting New York and Aruba and making it easier for travelers to experience One Happy Island.

Ahead of JetBlue’s Flight #1457 today, customers traveling to Aruba will have an opportunity to take photos, sign the Aruba Promise and receive a personalized luggage tag as a one-of-a-kind keepsake before the flight departs at approximately 11:12 a.m. local time.
The Aruba Promise invites travelers to see themselves not as visitors, but as guests of Aruba – embracing a slower pace, considering their footprint and showing gratitude for the island’s people, culture and natural beauty. Supported by Aruba’s Guest Guidelines, the Promise encourages simple, responsible choices that help protect what makes Aruba the One happy island for generations to come.
“Our partnership with JetBlue has helped create so many meaningful connections between New York and Aruba,” said Sjeidy Feliciano, Area Director North America, Aruba Tourism Authority. “As we celebrate this milestone and look to the future, we hope to continue welcoming guests to discover Aruba and develop a deeper appreciation for the unique people, culture and spirit that make our island so special.”
Today, JetBlue’s connection to Aruba extends beyond New York, with nonstop service also available from Boston and Fort Lauderdale.
“For 20 years, JetBlue has been proud to connect Aruba to New York, while providing customers with access to JetBlue’s broader network of destinations, helping bring more travelers closer to one of the Caribbean’s most beloved destinations,” said Stephanie Evans Greene, senior vice president of marketing and brand, JetBlue. “We’re grateful to the Aruba Tourism Authority for its longstanding partnership and look forward to continuing to serve the island and our customers for years to come.”
